McKee’s 37 Xtreme Iron Remover Gel is a thick, acid-free, pH-balanced chemical cleaner designed to rid automotive surfaces of ferrous iron particles and industrial fallout. By removing embedded iron particles, painted surfaces will appear brighter while feeling smoother to the touch. Color-changing formula turns red as it dissolves iron particles. Use on paint, wheels, glass, chrome and hard plastic trim. Xtreme Iron Remover is an essential step in prepping your vehicle for a ceramic coating. Thick gel formula provides maximum dwell time for heavy duty applications.Â
Directions:
Do not apply to surfaces that are hot to the touch. Apply directly onto dry paint and allow cleaner to dwell for 2-3 minutes. It will change color during this time if iron particles are present. Repeat if iron contamination remains. For stubborn iron contamination over larger areas, apply using a soft foam applicator pad. Once the product has removed the iron, wash it off using soap and water or a waterless wash. Do not allow cleaner to dry on surface.
